it flows right through my brain

It scares me how time seems to fly by so quickly.

Where's the pause button? Because I know I can't stop life.

I don't want a rewind button because I accept everything that happens... just give me time & I'll learn from everything.

Life's in play, but sometimes it feels as though the fast forward button is stuck.

& what's sad is that I'm not even happy throughout this time travelling.

I find myself more & more upset through the journey of my life.

I can't find the air to breathe from like I used to,

I miss how things used to be... or maybe I just miss being happy.

Doing the things I like doing, being with the people who make me happy.

& most important to me, spending my free time the way it should be spent.
